My name is Joan Bolton and I am a fully CRB checked teacher who feels that knitting as a valuable craft and social pastime is being forgotten. I would like to share the pleasures and rewards of this fast disappearing art so it is not forgotten. Sessions for children ages 7-11 Sessions for Adults Taster sessions: £4.00 6 sessions: £20.00 Learn the basics of knitting such as casting on and off, increasing and decreasing stitches, purling and combining knit and purl to make simple patterns. ***Also French Knitting, cording, plaiting and making pom-poms and tassles !*** The children can chose from a range of simple, yet rewarding projects so they get satisfying results from their efforts quickly!
